Position available for a Registered Nurse to work with the PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) Team. PACT helps individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses to live productive and independent lives in the community. This position works closely with other team members to ensure the health and safety of individuals supported by the PACT Program and provides professional supports to the team regarding healthcare related supports. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
Responsible for performance of service maintenance and cleaning of vehicles. Maintenance duties include inspection of engine components, air systems, etc., safety inspections and compliance of doorway, emergency equipment/exits, etc. making necessary adjustments and minor repairs, and maintaining vehicle motor fluids (oil, coolant, diesel exhaust fluid, etc.) Cleaning duties include cleaning of vehicles exterior and interior detailing responsibilities (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance of the Transportation Facility garage/wash bay area.
Responsible for cleaning bodily fluid spills appropriately using approved cleanup procedures and blood borne pathogens kits. Provide detailed reporting of cleaning processes in compliance with policies. Periodic facility cleaning will also be required. Vehicles specific to the Radford Transit system will be cleaned on a daily schedule. Position is forty (40) hours per week (standard evening hours Sunday through Thursday) with excellent benefits.
Provides peer support, empathy, encouragement, rehabilitation, and education to consumers in the residential crisis stabilization program. Represents the perspective of consumers in planning and provision of program services. Organizes and oversees leisure time and recreational activities.
Work schedule may include evening and/or weekend shifts.
Provides psychosocial rehabilitation services to groups of individuals with behavioral health diagnoses. Works individually and as part of the team to assure individuals participating are building skills to help them live optimally in the community. Some evening work may be required.
Responsible for the coordination and supervision of fixed route and route deviation transportation operations of the Radford Transit System. This includes but not limited to day to day personnel management, resource coordination, and program development.
Perform regular operations dispatching duties including but not limited to, scheduling, training, evaluating drivers, establishing route services, performing billing and fare collection duties, and a variety of other operational functions within a dynamic and high energy operation.

Works with Region 3’s sub-hubs and the project steering committee to provide for overall management, oversight and program development of Mobile Crisis services. Ensures regional sub-hub’s team meets productivity & service expectations; data collection is accurate and timely; resources are being utilized efficiently; and staffing coverage is adequate to meet the needs of the localities. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, family members and/or care givers, other CSB programs, other agencies working with services, and referral sources. Provides direct services to individuals served.
The Peer Recovery Specialist provides non-clinical, person-centered wellness-focused support to engage consumers in treatment and to promote use of the consumer's wellness recovery plan/relapse prevention plan. The Peer Recovery Specialist shares their first hand lived experiences with recovery to inspire hope, increase engagement in treatment, and in their communities and support consumers in articulating personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency, and self-advocacy. The Peer Recovery Specialist will function within the consumer's treatment team and will receive Coordinated Individual Supervision with the Office of Peer Supports and Recovery Supervisor.
The Peer Recovery Trainee serves in an entry level capacity to attain the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to prepare the individual for certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist.
This position will work primarily with the Same Day Access team, and assist with client support, education, and linkage to other supports. Some evenings and limited weekend hours may be required.
Transit Bus Operator II position assists passengers to and from various destinations in the Radford, Fairlawn, New River Valley, and surrounding areas. Duties include performing vehicle pre-trip inspections, record keeping, and providing safe and courteous service at all times.
This position will be required to work a set schedule of 30 hours per week while Radford Transit is in Regular Service. This position will be required to take leave while Radford Transit is operating City Only Service, but their position will be held until regular service resumes. The work times for this position will include afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Schedule will be set by supervisor.
Employment is contingent upon federal funding and the continuation of employment is based on the availability of these funds.
Performs detailed work in support of New River Valley Community Services centralized payroll processing function that includes performing bi-weekly payrolls for approximately 800 employees. Work primarily involves the gathering and processing of payroll data to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. In addition to payroll, other responsibilities will be assisting other areas of the Accounting Department as needed, such as Accounts Payable and Purchasing.
Position provides clinical and administrative supervision to employees of a residential crisis stabilization program. Assists supervisory staff in the oversight of appropriate completion of client and program records, facility staffing, quality improvement efforts, and facility management and maintenance. Directly monitors and provides client care, assists supervisory staff in ensuring employees adhere to policy and procedures and standards of client care. Also serves in a clinical capacity in providing crisis stabilization, emergency assessment and clinical services to clients in the program.
Seeking an Outpatient Clinician to provide clinical outpatient services to adults and children, who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness, substance use disorder, co-occurring diagnoses, and serious emotional disturbance and/or at-risk. This position will require clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, individual, and group treatment, as well as some case management for individuals served. Position will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to adults, children, adolescents, and families. In addition to some clinical work, this position will also work within Same Day Access completing clinical assessments, diagnosis, and making service recommendations.
Registered Nurse position available to work at our Crisis Stabilization Facility in Fairlawn. Works closely with team members to ensure the health and safety of individuals served in the program, and the overall quality of healthcare related supports provided by staff.
Responsibilities include oversight of LPN staff, facilitating health/medication groups, assessing health care needs, staff training in health care related topics, including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid, as well as serving as a Medication Administration Instructor. Additionally, will provide support coordination, and medication administration quality assurance.
Schedule will consist of some evenings and weekends. Individual must be available to flex schedule as needed.

Primary responsibilities include providing direct services (such as personal care assistance and life skills training) for individuals in an assisted living facility setting (ALF). The ALF provides services to individuals with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring intellectual disabilities.
Works directly with individuals, family members, care givers, and other staff to ensure appropriate services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner. Registered Medication Aides administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescriber's orders.
Provides facility based nursing supports to individuals with serious mental illnesses and/or co-occurring intellectual disabilities living at Fairview Home.

Works with individuals that struggle with the disease of addiction and/or mental illness, by providing periodic safety checks as well as monitoring for compliance with program rules. Duties include documentation of all medical and behavioral symptoms in client record, taking vital signs and administering medications. (Must pass agency provided Medication Administration Training.) Additional responsibilities include transporting clients as needed, and assisting with daily program activities.
Position will require evening, overnight, and weekend coverage.
Works as a part of the Community Living Healthcare Coordination Team to ensure all healthcare related supports provided to individuals residing in residential programs meet best practice quality and safety expectations. Monitors quality through regular site visits and provides healthcare related training to individuals supported and staff. Also provides direct nursing related supports to individuals served.
Provides crisis stabilization, crisis intervention, assessment and clinical services to clients in the community. Assists in development of program and treatment protocols for the crisis stabilization program. Works as part of the team to assure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and function optimally in the community.

This position provides community based Mental Health Skill Building for adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or individuals with co-occurring Mental Illness/Substance Use Disorders and/or Mental Illness/Developmental Disabilities. Schedule is flexible. Some evening work is required.

Schedule will primarily work M-F days, but individual must be available to flex schedule as needed.
