Part-time Van / Transit Bus Operator position to assist passengers to and from various destinations in the Radford, Fairlawn, New River Valley, and surrounding areas. Duties include performing vehicle pre-trip inspections, record keeping, and providing safe and courteous service at all times. Hours vary Sunday through Saturday and are flexible to various types of schedule needs.
Evening and weekend hours are expected.
Provides direct services designed to promote community inclusion and independence to individuals residing in agency group homes or participating in day programs. Works with family members, other care givers, other staff, and natural community resources as indicated in the individual service plans to ensure appropriate services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.

Also provides training for individuals, families and caregivers in the array of therapeutic interventions and tools needed to help individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs to live successfully in the community. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Some overnight and weekend crisis on-call supports is required.

Works as a part of the NRVCS Team to provide quality psychiatric evaluations and medication management services in an array of Community based Mental Health programs. Also provides clinical consultation, training and support to staff regarding medical related issues.
