The Transportation Operations Manager is responsible for planning, managing and supervising the day-to-day operation of the agency’s transportation services including: dispatch, route scheduling, staff supervision, and staff scheduling. Responsible for ensuring that transportation-related services are provided in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. Performs administrative and supervisory work related to transportation activities.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required. Considerable experience in public or commercial transportation services. Supervisory and administrative experience required.
