Oversees and coordinates the agency’s risk management activities in the areas of health and safety, disaster preparedness and recovery to ensure compliance with applicable agency policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards. Works to strengthen the climate of risk responsibility across the organization by assisting with required reports, coordination of resources, staff training, data analysis, and follow up to identify trends that may benefit from quality improvement activities. Assists to assess and identify emerging risks, evaluate policies, and ensure proper implementation of and follow up of corrective action plans.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a human services, risk management, or public health administration is required. At least two (2) years of experience in quality assurance or risk management is preferred.
