Coordinates, promotes and facilitates monthly support group meeting for grandparents in Pulaski County who are raising grandchildren. Provides support and education for families affected by the opioid crisis or other issues related to addiction. Links families to appropriate resources and advocates for their needs.
Includes – but not limited to - regular collaboration with families, stakeholders and community organizations. Must maintain database of participating families and assist with collection of data.
This is a part-time position, limited to 12 hours per month. The position is grant funded through September 30, 2019.
A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (education, social work, psychology, human services or a related field). Familiarity with Pulaski County community preferred. Experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental health or substance use disorders preferred.
