Work with a team of clinicians to provide short-term crisis counseling, individual and family therapy, assessments, and care coordination for children referred to the program. These services can occur in the home and the community. Develop and implement therapeutic activity plans, teach parenting skills and coping skills to children and adolescents, and do individual and family therapy.
This position would provide free supervision for licensure, laptop, cell phone, mileage reimbursement, and very reasonable productivity requirements. Supportive, collaborative culture, training opportunities, and opportunity to work on a treatment team that includes staff pediatric psychiatrists also included.
Must have a Master's degree from an accredited university in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related human services field. QMHP-C and/or LMHP-E is required. A candidate who is licensed to provide mental health services as an LPC or LCSW, is preferred. Valid Virginia driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
