Works in the REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) to ensure individuals participating in the program are provided individualized personal and behavioral supports needed to promote crisis stabilization, community inclusion and maximum independence. Works with other REACH team members as indicated in the individuals’ service plans to ensure appropriate services are delivered. This position primarily works focuses on food preparation, housekeeping, and assisting individuals participating in services at the REACH CTH with activities of daily living. May also help REACH CTH program provide specialized supervision when assigned.
Must have the education and/or experience in a related field that demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned tasks. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working in a residential facility that provides support to individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred. Certification as a DBHDS Residential Services and Day Support Provider are required within 30 days of hire. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Applied Crisis Training (training provided) are required. Must possess a valid driver’s license (Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) and an acceptable driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
