Registered Nurse position available to work with the Psychiatric Services Team: Nursing Supports, Case Management, Service Coordination, Mental Health Supports, Crisis Intervention, Community Treatment, or, as needed to provide medical support to any other program NRVCS offers. Works closely with other team members of team to ensure the health and safety of individuals served in the programs and the overall quality of healthcare related supports provided by staff. Responsibilities include assessing health care needs, staff training in the health care related topics, including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid, as well as Medication Administration Instructor. Additionally, support coordination, and medication administration quality assurance. Schedule will primarily work M-F days, but individual must be available to flex schedule as needed.
Required to have graduated from an approved/accredited college in the School of Nursing and have a valid Virginia Registered Nursing License. Bachelor’s Degree or beyond is required. Certification in CPR and current valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Experience working in psychiatric setting is preferred. QMHP eligibility or status is required.
