This position will provide therapeutic services to youth with behavioral and emotional difficulties at the Claremont Therapeutic Day Treatment site. Staff will work directly with youth, as well as their families, to identify needs, develop treatment objectives, and provide strategies and support. This person will work with a team to provide structured activities, including, but not limited to, psycho-education, experiential, and supportive counseling, as well as recreational activities. This person will work to assure that the program is maintaining compliance with licensure standards including food service regulations, building maintenance requirements, and DBHDS and Medicaid standards.
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required with at least one year experience working with emotionally disturbed youth preferred. QMHP-E is required. QMHP-C is preferred. Candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license, and the minimal vehicle insurance required by law, and must maintain a good driving record.
