Registered Nurse position available to work with the Psychiatric Services Team at our newly licensed Detox Unit in Fairlawn. Works closely with other team members of crisis stabilization facility to ensure the health and safety of individuals served in the program and the overall quality of healthcare related supports provided by staff. Responsibilities include oversight of LPN staff, assessing health care needs, staff training in the health care related topics, including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid, as well as Medication Administration Instructor. Additionally, support coordination, and medication administration quality assurance.
Work schedule may include evening and/or weekend shifts as needed.
Required to have graduated from an approved/accredited college in the School of Nursing and have a valid Virginia Registered Nursing License. Bachelor’s Degree or beyond is required. Certification in CPR is required (CPR training class will be provided). Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required. Experience working in detox and substance use treatment is preferred.
Must be registered as a LMHP or LHMP-E, or meet the qualifications as QMHP or QMHP trainee as set forth by the board of counseling.
