Provides for the overall day-to-day administrative management and supervision for an Adult DD Service Coordination Team. Provides direct supervision and support to staff and assures quality services are provided. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, family members and/or care givers, other NRVCS programs, and other agencies working with services supervised. Also provides direct and indirect services.
The supervisor of the support coordinator/case manager shall have at least a master's level degree in a human services field OR have five years of experience in the field working with individuals with developmental disability as defined in § 37.2-100 of the Code of Virginia, or both. Demonstrated experience providing ID/DD support coordination for individuals served under the Virginia DOJ Settlement Agreement guidelines is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid, possession of a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
