    NRVCS is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director and serve as a Clerk of the Board for the agency’s Board of Directors. This position will serve as the liaison between the Executive Director and consumers, employees, and Board members. Administrative responsibilities include: general record keeping of the Executive Office files; maintaining the Executive Director's calendar and email; organizing events and meeting; preparing agendas and taking minutes.


    The ideal candidate must be professional, personable, flexible, and self-directed. He/she must have strong interpersonal skills, maintain strict confidentiality, and be an effective communicator with the ability to relate to people in all positions. He or she will be a self-starter, proactive and exceptionally well-organized. The position requires great attention to detail, clear communication and interpersonal skills.


    Associates Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent with at least three full years of full-time employment in an administrative position is required. Experience providing high-level administrative support and customer service in a professional office environment; proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality; experience in preparing meeting minutes and excellent writing skills needed; event planning is helpful.
