Seeking motivated and self-directed clinicians to provide individual, family, and crisis-intervention services to students in schools in Montgomery County and Pulaski County Public Schools who are English learners and whose primary language is Spanish. Interested in applicants who are skilled in providing holistic and proactive services that will contribute to students’ academic and social-emotional success. This position is funded by a grant for one year in conjunction with Project AWARE, the clinician will attempt to make the position sustainable over time through fees collected.
Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences required. Licensed in LCSW or LPC preferred. Applicant should have specialized knowledge and experience in working with children with serious emotional and behavioral problems, skilled in record-keeping and knowledgeable about Medicaid requirements, and adept at building relationships and community networking.
Must be registered as a LMHP or LHMP-E, or meet the qualifications as QMHP or QMHP trainee as set forth by the board of counseling.
Spanish and English Bilingual skills required; excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both Spanish and English.
