This position provides community based Mental Health Skill Building for adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or individuals with co-occurring Mental Illness/Substance Use Disorders and/or Mental Illness/Developmental Disabilities. Position does allow for flexible schedule but some evening work may be required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field approved by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services (DBHDS) and current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) is required. Certification in CPR and First Aid are required (training provided). Must have an acceptable driving record.
