This position will work as part of the REACH Team to provide direct clinical supports for the Virginia Region III REACH Program. Position is responsible for completing assessments and development of individualized service plans. Also provides training for individuals, families and caregivers in the array of therapeutic interventions and tools needed to help individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs to live successfully in the community. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Some overnight and weekend crisis on-call supports is required.
Graduation from an accredited university with at least a Master’s degree in a human services field is required. Experience providing crisis behavioral health services to individuals with co-occurring developmental disabilities and behavioral health diagnoses in a community based setting is preferred. Licensure or Licensure Eligibility as a Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Clinical Social Worker in Virginia is required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Virginia QMHP status is required.
